Why Choose Canada?

1. Universal Healthcare

The basic values of fairness and equity that are demonstrated by the willingness of Canadians to share resources and responsibility are displayed in Canada's health care system, and have been reflected in the modifications and major reforms made to the system since its inception. The system has been and continues to be modified as the country's population and circumstances change, and as the nature of health care itself evolves.

Canada's publicly funded health care system is best described as an interlocking set of ten provincial and three territorial health systems. Known to Canadians as "medicare," the system provides access to a broad range of health services.

The five Canada Health Act principles provide for

Public Administration

The provincial and territorial plans must be administered and operated on a non profit basis by a public authority accountable to the provincial or territorial government.
The provincial and territorial plans must insure all medically necessary services provided by hospitals, medical practitioners and dentists working within a hospital setting.
The provincial and territorial plans must entitle all insured persons to health insurance coverage on uniform terms and conditions.
The provincial and territorial plans must provide all insured persons reasonable access to medically necessary hospital and physician services without financial or other barriers.
The provincial and territorial plans must cover all insured persons when they move to another province or territory within Canada and when they travel abroad. The provinces and territories have some limits on coverage for services provided outside Canada, and may require prior approval for non-emergency services delivered outside their jurisdiction.

2. Immigrants are well accepted in Canada

Thanks to immigration, Canada's labour force continues to grow by a small amount every year. If it weren't for immigrants, employers would have trouble finding enough qualified workers to fill available jobs. This is because Canadians are living longer and having fewer children. More people are retiring, and there are fewer students in schools. As a result, the pool of Canadian-born existing and potential workers is limited.

Immigrants contribute to our economy, not only by filling gaps in our labour force and paying taxes, but also by spending money on goods, housing and transportation.

3. Multiculturalism in Canada

June 27 is Canadian Multiculturalism Day!

The year 2021 marked a particularly special milestone as we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Multiculturalism Policy.

4. Incorporating a business provincially and federally is advantageous in Canada

Easier access to capital

Corporations can borrow money at lower rates. They can also raise money by selling shares or bonds to investors (called shareholders).
Corporations are taxed separately from their owners. Corporate tax rates are generally lower than personal income tax rates.
Shareholders are not responsible for a corporation's debts. If your corporation goes bankrupt, your shareholders only lose up to what they invested.
Corporations have the same rights as a real person, including owning property, getting loans, and entering into contracts.
Corporations live on until they wind up, amalgamate, or give up their charter (for example, when they go bankrupt). With other business structures, a business stops existing when the owner dies.
